Sunday, February 12th was the 1st annual BBRAXTON Exceptional Groom Expo, in partnership with 98.7 KISS FM. The event was held at BBRAXTON Exceptional Grooming For Exceptional Men, located at 1400 Fifth Avenue.
The Exceptional Groom Expo is the brainchild of Tony Nominated Broadway actress Brenda Braxton who is also the owner of the upscale grooming parlor.
The 2007 Annual Real Wedding Survey conducted by The Knot, revealed that 36% of grooms were “very involved” and 57% of grooms were “somewhat involved” in the wedding planning process. Online retailers such as GroomsDay.com, are becoming popular destinations for grooms looking for resources tailored to their needs. The Exceptional Groom Expo is a step towards guiding gentlemen to becoming exceptional grooms.
“The groom is often times overlooked and the expo is our way of making him feel special, after all, it is his day too,” says Brenda Braxton. Designed with the needs of the groom in mind, the Exceptional Groom Expo offered an inviting environment for couples, grooms, and groomsmen to obtain valuable information concerning their special day.
