GALLERY: Power to End Stroke Awards

Harlem’s historic Apollo Theater played host to the recent Power to End Stroke concert and awards.  Hosted by hilarious actor Anthony Anderson and headlined by Chrisette Michele, the event was created by the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association to help stem the tide of strokes in the African-American community.  Some of the many celebrities who came to support were, Cissy Houston, Day 26, Trin-i-tee 5:7, George Willborn, Malinda Williams, Jacque Reid, Ruben Santiago Hudson, Terry and Rebecca Crews, NY Giants’ Justin Tuck, WBLS Radio & national TV personality Egypt Sherrod, and BET News personality April Woodard among many, many others.
