General Motors loves to give back. Not only is the company thriving, but they are still taking part in wonderful initiatives like the one below.

General Motors North America President Mark Reuss has lunch with Henry Ford High School students –  members of a group of 110 Detroit-area high school students being hired by GM as paid summer interns to staff the brand-new GM Student Corps in a program that will develop and implement service projects in Detroit-area neighborhoods Monday, May 20, 2013. The students representing 11 United Way Network of Excellence Schools will work in teams of 10 and be mentored by 60 GM retirees and 12 GM student interns from the University of Detroit Mercy. The teams are currently planning their projects. Work is scheduled to begin in mid-June and conclude in August. (Photos by John F. Martin for General Motors)
