At an exclusive reveal event at Espace on 42nd Street, SimplyRides.com got a chance to check out the all new 2015 Lincoln MKC, a small but premium SUV. First introduced as a concept vehicle at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, this is the second of four all-new Lincoln vehicles to fuel the brand’s reinvention. The first of these vehicles was the 2013 Lincoln MKZ sedan. The MKC (the C is for “crossover) fits into the small premium utility vehicle segment, which has become the fastest-growing segment of the luxury market. It’s grown by more than 200 percent since 2009. “Lincoln MKC is a perfect blend of inspired automotive design and dynamic driving performance in a segment that has grown in popularity in recent years,” said Jim Farley, executive vice president of Ford global marketing, sales and service and Lincoln. “As a challenger luxury brand, entering this segment is a natural next step for us. MKC will do more than just compete – it will change the way people think about Lincoln.” And it looks good too. Check out some of the photos from the reveal right here.
