SIPS @ Porsche Design Kitchen Showroom

Of course, you already know that Porsche makes beautiful cars, but it might surprise you to know that they make gorgeous kitchens too.  On 58th Street in midtown Manhattan, you’ll find the Poggenpohl “Porsche Design” Kitchen, which was created to showcase the sleek, enticing design of a Porsche-branded kitchen.  From self-closing cabinets (yes, you read that right) to integrated flat-screen TVs, this kitchen is ready made for your inner rock-star.

While visiting the showroom make sure you ask for a “High Performance Cocktail.”  Tinted green and bubbling with flavor, this refreshing beverage is just what you need to perk up for a night of party-hopping (or kitchen shopping).

3 parts Midori
3 parts organic vodka
2 parts pineapple juice
Splash of sour
Serve in a highball with ice
Garnish with a slice of pineapple or melon

Here, “Top Chef” alum Chef Angelo Sosa, Steve Janisse from Porsche Cars North America, and Porsche racecar driver Patrick Long get ready to sample one.
