Any good travel blog will tell you that the new trend in vacationing is “glamping.” A wonderful blend of the words “glamorous” and “camping,” glamping is one of those things that once you’ve discovered it, you wonder how you ever lived without it. One of our favorite places to glamp is found in the rolling hills of Montana at The Resort at Paws Up.
With four camps to choose from (can you hear the soft river flowing?), this resort has luxury tents that will almost make you forget that you are in nature. In River Camp, travelers will be calling tents home on the legendary Blackfoot River. Luxury tents here include scrumptious beds, electricity, a spacious deck, a nearby private master bathroom, twice-daily housekeeping service, delicious meals, and even your own personal camping butler.
If tents don’t happen to be your thing (although these are far from the tents you are used to), there are luxury homes available as well. In the property’s Meadow Home, for example, you will find two bedrooms, two bathrooms, approximately 1,300 square feet of living area, a laundry room, and a four-person hot tub. Not to mention a fully equipped kitchen and a flat-screen TV equipped with satellite programming.
No trip here would be complete, however, without experiencing the great outdoors. Lucky for you, the resort has guided activities such as horseback riding, fly fishing, and ATV tours, or inclusive activities such as horseshoes and archery.
