If you’re sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas, book the Royal Loft Suite
You’ve likely heard of Oasis of the Seas already. Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines pulled out all the stops in an effort to tell the world about its behemoth of a cruise liner, the Oasis. Because it’s longer than four football fields and taller than the Empire State Building, you’d think the biggest news about Oasis of the Seas would be its size. Not so. The Oasis of the Seas is the first cruise ship to adopt a neighborhood approach to cruising. To wit, the Oasis is broken up into seven distinct neighborhoods, each offering an entirely different experience. You’ve got The Boardwalk, Central Park, Royal Promenade, Pool and Sports Zone, the Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, Youth Zone, and Entertainment Place. There are also rock climbing walls, two Flowriders (surfing simulators), a water show, a casino, a comedy club, zip lines, and a wide sampling of restaurants that include the Rising Tide, a champagne bar that moves from one level to the next on hydraulic lifts. Want to stay out of the fray and observe? Slip into the Royal Loft Suite and you’ll have a first-rate experience: Two floors, your own private bar, an outdoor Jacuzzi, a baby grand piano, and a bathroom with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the ocean are just a few of the extravagant amenities awaiting you within the suite’s doors. Plus, you’ll have a perfect view of all the many activities below. Rumor has it that Rihanna herself has enjoyed this stellar suite. I wouldn’t be surprised.
