For the Diplomat: Jaguar XF

Type: Luxury sedan
Fave feature: Drama. When the car starts, the speakers, gearshift, and air vents pop open at the same time.

If you want luxury and cache while retaining a relatively low profile, Jaguar’s XF is what you need to be driving.  From buttery leather seats and a pop-up gearshift that let’s you dial your way from park to drive, the XF is all luxe, all the time.  Normal enough to blend in but stately enough to stand out upon closer inspection, the XF is just the type of high-end ride you want for everyday driving.  Air-conditioned seats, rearview mirrors that notify you that someone is in your blind spot, and a remote key that you don’t even have to take out of your pocket are among the many features that will keep you comfortable and pampered.

(Starts at $52K; Mpg: 16 city/25 hwy; jaguar.com)
