Our new docuseries “Brown Boy Bad(?)” is an attempt to contribute to the current #BlackLivesMatter conversation from an automotive perspective. Each episode is filmed inside of a vehicle and shows successful black fathers talking about race and parenting in an accessible, humanizing way. We have also created a podcast where we interview these same fathers about their first remembered experience with racism.

In this first episode of the docuseries, Marius drives around Nashville, Tennessee in a new Kia Sedona minivan while discussing hoodies, size and his 9 year-old son’s recent encounter with appearance-based assumption. The docuseries was produced by SékouWrites.

Also, be sure to check out episode one of the matching podcast right here.
